Ticketing Information
Kentucky Performing Arts Ticket Service is funded by order fees. Order fees are standard in the ticketing industry and cover the cost of staff, hardware, maintenance, software, and licensing for our 24/7/365 operation. The ticket cost portion of the purchase goes to the various presenting organizations. Kentucky Performing Arts Ticket Service retains the order fees from each transaction.

The facility fee is charged on top of the base ticket price for all ticketed events in KPA-managed venues. It is included in the face value of the ticket.
Facility fees are routed into a restricted fund that helps pay for building needs when state funds are not adequate or available.
Credit Card Commission:
Commercial – 5%
Non-profit – 3.5%

Client pays:
$.30 per ticket issurance (all tickets)
Credit card fees (in The Kentucky Center & The Brown Theatre)
Setup fee ($225 per show reserved, $75 per show General Admission)

Patron pays:
Facility fee on top of base ticket price
Order fee on top base + facility fee (17% in The Kentucky Center & Brown; 23% in Old Forester’s Paristown Hall)
