OCTOBER 2, 2026 - Application Portal Opens & Applicant Guides Released

  • Application Portal - Students will be able to start uploading their application materials. Read the applicant guides (referenced below) for more information; the entire preliminary application is virtual. All completed applications will be considered. Applications are due Sunday, January 17, 2027 at 11:59 PM ET/ 10:59 PM CT.
  • Applicant Guides - These important documents describe the application/audition process and criteria for GSA 2027, enabling applicants to start honing their materials.

 

SUNDAY, JANUARY 17, 2027 - GSA 2027 Applications due by 11:59 PM ET / 10:59 PM CT

  • Applicants are strongly encouraged to upload their application materials before this date. GSA offices will not be staffed over the weekend and we will not be accessible to answer questions after Friday, January 15. 

 

FEBRUARY 12, 2027 - GSA 2027 Finalists Announced

  • All applicants will be notified of whether they have advanced to the final round of adjudication. 

 

MARCH 11 - 13, 2027 - Final Round Auditions & Reviews

  • All Finalists will attend an audition/review. Some artforms will hold their auditions/reviews in-person at Northern Kentucky University, while others will be held virtually. Full details are in each artform's applicant guide.
  • Thursday auditions run from 1 PM to 6 PM ET, while Friday and Saturday auditions/reviews run from 9 AM to 6 PM ET. 
    • Please note that at this time, we are offering Thursday afternoon timeslots for Dance, Drama, and Musical Theatre auditions ONLY. All other artforms will only offer audition/review timeslots on Friday and Saturday. 

 

APRIL 9, 2027 - Announcement of GSA 2027 Accepted Students and Alternates

  • All Finalists will be notified of whether they have been accepted into the summer program. A list of alternates will also be announced. 

 

JUNE 6 - 26, 2027 - GSA 2027 Summer Program at Northern Kentucky University
